The Aprilaire Model 8825 System Controller provides the building manager a convenient, easy to use central control point for all of their heating and cooling needs. This is accomplished by simply accessing the system through any standard computer and web browser. Through this intuitive interface, the building manager can establish thermostat schedules and determine required system overrides. Security measures are in place to prevent unauthorized access.The System Controller can accommodate up to 16 Model 8870 thermostats connected with one or more Model 8818 Distribution panels. Each thermostat on the thermostat network must have a unique ID. System Controller Package ContentsThe System Controller package should contain the following items:1. Model 8825 System Controller2. Power supply3. Installation, Configuration and User Manual4. One standard Cat5 Ethernet cable to connect the System Controller to a local area network5. One crossover Cat5 Ethernet cable to connect the System Controller directly to a computer network port6. One Cat5 RS-485 serial communication pigtail cable to connect the System Controller to the Distribution PanelTo complete the installation, you will also need to provide the following:-120VAC power outlet within 6 feet of the System Controller
